Bethany Education Center is Getting Built!
Dear Friends and Family of the Watumull Childrens Fund,
We bring you the best news ever! We have started building Bethany Education Center’s permanent school!
Last Friday we gathered for a groundbreaking and blessing ceremony. Here is Scot with Walter, Bethany’s principal, with some of the bricks we are using to build the school.
Of course, the demolition is first!
Here are our surveyors beginning.
We are meeting once a week on the construction site for updates. Here are most of our team representing Start Somewhere (Germany), the Sandy Vohra Foundation (Kenya) and WFCF!
This board posted on our site informs the community of our project. It is very real, and very exciting!
We are looking forward to a beautiful new building to teach our children in, but to also hold community programs such as AA, and parent education seminars. This building will uplift the whole Kawangware informal settlement! Thank you for helping us!
